James Vasilas
Attorney and Owner
James Vasilas has been licensed to practice law in Texas for more than 20 years.
He is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. He previously earned a Master of Arts from Indiana University.
He attended undergraduate school at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
With more than 20 years of experience, both at the state and federal levels, he has handled thousands of criminal cases.
He is a skilled negotiator and has experience in civil forfeiture cases in state and federal courts.
James is known throughout the Dallas area as a thorough and dedicated attorney, often taking on cases that his colleagues thought could not be won, while still obtaining excellent results for the client.
James is fluent in Spanish, having lived in Latin America for many years. He spent part of his high school education in Mexico, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua in the 1970s and has a second home in Colombia, where much of his family resides.
When he's not in the courtroom, he spends time with his family cooking, watching movies, or relaxing on his favorite island, Maui.
