Rosa Mercado Diaz

Ms. Rosa Mercado Diaz is an attorney licensed in Texas and Puerto Rico. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and her Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto. She was born in Puerto Rico and is a native Spanish speaker. She is also fluent in English.
She started her career working with Puerto Rico Legal Aid, a non-profit organization who serves low-income families. Later she established her own law practice in Puerto Rico.
Before starting at Vasilas & Montani, Ms. Mercado Diaz worked as an Immigration Attorney with Catholic Charities and Raices, two non-profit organizations in Texas.
Ms. Mercado Diaz is passionate about helping the immigrant community to achieve they dream.
In her free time, Ms. Mercado Diaz enjoys writing. She has published two novels and is a contributor for El Nuevo Dia, Puerto Rican more prestigious newspaper.
She also enjoys the outdoors, traveling, museums, concerts and spending time with friends and family.
