Meagan Knuth

Meagan Knuth is from San Antonio Texas. She moved to the Dallas area after law school and currently lives in Allen, Texas with her two cats. She is a first-generation attorney and gained legal experience as a paralegal while attending law school in the evening program at St. Mary’s University School of Law. Meagan chose to attend law school to help people exercise their rights and improve their situation using the law. She has been licensed to practice law since 2022, and prior to that Meagan worked as a certified paralegal in the areas of family law and immigration. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies in 2015 at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), Meagan completed UTSA’s paralegal certification program and received her official certification through the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA).
Meagan started her career as an attorney in criminal defense mainly handling class C misdemeanors including assault, theft, and traffic tickets and has practiced in municipal and justice of the peace courts all over the DFW metroplex. Her practice is now focused on higher level criminal offenses as a criminal defense attorney at Vasilas and Montani PLLC.
In her free time Meagan practices yoga and enjoys activities on the water like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. She is a member of the National Lawyers’ Guild (NLG) and gives back to her community through volunteer work and legal observing with the NLG.
